When you first step onboard the Norwegian Gem, you will feel as if you have just walked through the doors of a five-star hotel. This cruise ship is new and features all the modern amenities you would hope to find on a cruise, complete with a wide range of cabin categories, 12 restaurants, 13 bars and lounges, play areas for adults and children both inside and out and state of the art fitness equipment. The Norwegian Cruise Line is known as having the best casinos at sea so you won’t have any problem trying your luck at the slots or the tables. This is freestyle cruising at its finest with time to do as you please.

Our cabin was an outside cabin and it was one of the newly reburbished ones as the bathroom was very big, compared to other cruise ships we have travelled on. Restaurants and cafe's are varied and excellent. Usually alchohol is expensive on cruises but I found it rather affordable..... Read full review
