You won’t have to do without your daily fitness routine when you take a cruise on the Norwegian Spirit. The gym may be small but contains the latest in fitness equipment and for your added convenience it is open 24 hours a day. Here you will find stationary and spinning bikes, treadmills and stairmasters. Take part in an aerobics of Pilates class taught by qualified instructors and get hints on how to design your own workout program. There are also two pools here where you can get a good workout by swimming against the tide.

As you work out in the gym you can enjoy the view through the large windows or watch TV. There are even comfy chairs where you can take a rest or chat with your fellow passengers taking a respite from their exercise routine.

Pampering is the specialty at the Roman Spa where you can indulge in a spa or massage treatment. Have a hot stone massage, a body wrap or a facial. Soak away your stress in one of the four hot tubs or detoxify in the sauna or steam room.

Swim a few laps in the early morning at the Trivoli Pool on Deck 12 and be in full form for a delicious breakfast to start your day off right. Walkers and joggers like to use the track on Deck 13 that encircles the ship giving them panoramic views of the ocean. You may find that you are able to walk for longer periods of time because you are so enamoured with the view that you just want to stay outside.

Deck 13 is also the location of the basketball court that is fully enclosed so you don’t have to worry about the ball going into the ocean or bouncing off someone’s head on a lower deck. Here you will also find two golf driving nets when you want to practice your swing or even get tips from another passenger who may have more experience at golf than you do.

If ping pong is your passion you will not feel left out on the Norwegian Spirit with the tables located on Deck 11.
