In keeping with its freestyle cruising motto, the Norwegian Dawn has everything you need for relaxation and fitness aboard the ship no matter what the duration of your cruise may be. Families are welcomed aboard and there is a full line of activities to keep the children fully occupied giving parents time for themselves.

Youth programs are complimentary for children aged 2 to 12 and are available from 8 to 10 P.M. on the day the ship embarks for the cruise. When at sea, this area of the ship is open from 9 in the morning until 10 at night and on days when there are shore excursions planned it is available from the time the ship leaves port until 10 P.M. Free Style at Play is a new addition where children of all ages can play together during designated times of the day.



There are specific events planned for each age group, such and age related developmental activities for those aged 2 to 5, computer games for those aged 6 to 8, and sports activities for ages 10 -12. Teens have their own programs such as the Wii, sports activities, dances and parties as well as computer games. In addition to giving parents some time to do as they please, children can make friends with those of their own age group.

There is a casino on this ship for those times when you feel lucky and an extensive library of books, CD’s and DVD’s. Six Jacuzzis should fit the bill in offering you relaxation and there are two steam rooms. In addition to the medical centre where you can get the medical attention you need from a doctor, if there is an emergency on the ship there is a helipad where a helicopter can land and take off, so you don’t need to worry about the possibility of falling ill on the cruise.
