The facilities available for children make cruising on the Norwegian Spirit a dream come true for families. About 20% of Deck 10 is devoted to children and teenagers with programs designed for specific age groups. Teenagers love the Video Arcade and the disco and the area for younger children is filled with toys and a climbing jungle that will keep them entertained for hours.

Buccaneer’s Wet and Wild is complete with a children’s pool and water slides. This water park on the Norwegian Spirit has caves and mountains, a children’s hot tub and a pirate cannon that shoots water. Parents can sit in Raffles Bar and watch the children as they play in this area. Best of all, the use of the children’s center is free of charge for ages 2 to 16.



In the card room you can indulge in the card game of your choice or choose one of many board games available. During the days at sea, there are many different activities planned, such as Bingo, lectures on various topics, arts and craft classes and more for your enjoyment. Shop for jewelry or items that you forgot to pack at the duty free shops onboard. This is a great opportunity to save money on souvenirs without having to pay additional taxes.

If you want a quiet place to read or write, there is a library and a writing room for your needs on the Norwegian Spirit. Here you can curl up in a comfy chair with a good book or check out a few to take to the pool or your stateroom.

Smokers have a place where they can indulge in their habit indoors on this ship in the Smoking Room. Along with a large selection of cigars you can purchase, you can also sip on a cognac as you watch the sights go by.
Business travellers are not left out either with three meeting rooms on the Norwegian Spirit that can be made into one large room if you book a working cruise for your employees.

You don’t have to fret over your hair for an event in the evening with the full range of services you can enjoy from Oscar’s Hair and Beauty Salon. Even though the dress code is casual, you still want to look your best at all times.
