The Atrium of the Norwegian Sky is conveniently located in the middle of the ship. Here you will find the Reception Desk and be able to book your shore excursions. There is a bar in this location as well as comfortable chairs where you can curl up with a book or just engage in some people watching on the cruise.

The two large swimming pools, one of which is adults only, are located on Deck 11 and there are numerous lounge chairs and sunbeds where you can work on your tan or just socialize with your friends. Within close proximity of the pools, there are five hot tubs where you can soak away your stresses and become totally relaxed for your night’s activities. There is also a hot tub just for children as well as a splash pool complete with a water slide for the little ones.

You can always stay in touch with home by means of the Internet Cafe. Here you will find eight computer stations. With the use of an access card that you purchase from the Reception Desk, it won’t take you long to let others know what a great time you are having. You pay by the minute, so if you plan to use the Internet on a regular basis it would be a great idea to purchase a package rate.

The Norwegian Sky also has its own department store in the Galleria Shops. If you forget to pack something or wish to pick up something special on your cruise, there is no doubt that you will find it here. There is also the added advantage in shopping at sea with no taxes or duty charges.

The Mark Twain Library is fully stocked with a wide array of literature genres. Curl up in one of the comfy chairs or check out a book or two to take back to your cabin for your nightly reading. With the stellar view through the expanse of windows, although you may settle down to read, it is likely you will spend your time taking in the sights of the sea.

Families with children are delighted to find programs just for the little ones and teenagers that will keep them occupied during the day and into the evening hours. All programs are organized by age groups and have developmentally appropriate activities and games. Reserve a meeting room if you are having a business cruise and for those times when you just want a quiet moment of reflection there is a chapel on the ship.
