The line up of amenities in terms of facilities provided for families cruising with children is enormous. Not only are the accommodations suitable for families, but there is a kid-sizes pool and water slide as well as the Spashdown Kid’s Club. Children can take part in a variety of programs that are geared to specific age groups and parents can go off on their own knowing that their little ones are in capable hands. The restaurants also offer menus for children and in the Kid’s Corner the tables and chairs are just the right size for the younger set.
Deck 7 is the location of the reception desk, where you can make inquiries and book your shore excursions. Here you will find the Internet Cafe where you can keep in touch with those at home if you forgot to take your laptop along with you. There are art and photo galleries here as well and shops where you can purchase items duty free. The Crystal Atrium is also the site of the Java Cafe where you can sit and enjoy a cup of your favourite brew as you take in the sights and sounds of the ship. ![]() You can use one of the eight computers in the Internet Cafe at any time of the day or night, but there is a user fee attached that consists of an activation fee and then a per minute charge. If you plan to use this service a lot, it would be cheaper to purchase a package, such as 100 minutes of computer use. The Library contains a great selection of books of all genres and there are children’s titles in several different languages. Passengers are permitted to check out three books at one time. During the day there is the usual line up of bingo, arts and crafts and lectures on a variety of topics, including the upcoming ports of call. There are quiz games in which passengers can participate and have loads of fun, plus the card room where you can play a card game or a board game of your choosing. |
