Thirteen restaurants and room service round the clock should be plenty to keep your stomach full at all times when you choose the Norwegian Star for your next cruise to either Alaska or the tropics. The two main dining rooms are the Aqua and Versailles Restaurants. Both are very spacious with seating for 322 in the Aqua and seating for almost 500 in the Versaillles. The daily menu of both venues includes a large selection of healthy, light choices and the five course evening meal is an elegant affair of deliciously cooked and displayed menu items.

Experience the tastes of Japanese, Thai and Chinese cuisine at the Ginza Asian Restaurant, which can seat 114 guests. The Teppanyaki Room is a much smaller restaurant within this venue that can only seat 12 at a time. Here you can reserve one large table and see your meal being prepared right before your eyes. The skill of the chefs is evident in the way they handle the large knives and perform tricks with them as they cut and grill your food for you as well as give you small samples to taste. The Sushi and Sashima Bar is also within the confines of the Ginza Asian Restaurant so that you have a total Oriental experience in one location.

Romantic tables for two for a dinner by candlelight is the atmosphere that pervades Le Bistro, a restaurant that serves gourmet French cuisine. There are also larger tables available where you can chat with your friends as you feel as if you are dining on the French Mediterranean. It is just like a traditional French cafe.

Endless Summer is the Tex-Mex restaurant on the Norwegian Star and is located in the Atrium. This venue also has a stage where you can take in a variety of musical performances in the evening. If you are looking for steak, then Cagney’s Steakhouse has what you need. You won’t even realize that you are dining on a ship unless you look through the expansive restaurants. With the amount of food you have on your plate, you may want to retire to your cabin for a rest before you start dancing.

The Blue Lagoon is open 24 hours a day with fast-food favourites as well as light fare. Choose your own lobster for your dinner at the SoHo Restaurant, which can seat 112. Delicious entrees, appetizers and desserts round out an exquisite meal in this high-end dining location.

Children can feast on their favourites at the Market Cafe/Kid’s Cafe where the portions are just enough for kids. Families love this dining venue with its buffet of a wide selection of foods that will satisfy everyone.
