The Norwegian Sky features two main dining rooms – the Crossings and the Palace Main. Both are very spacious and can seat over 500 for a meal for those who like the traditional style of dining with set times for the evening meal. You can, if you wish, take all your meals in these venues with open seating for breakfast and lunch. Although it is best to make reservations for your evening meal, you are still welcome to walk in.

The alternative restaurants on the Norwegian Sky are smaller and have a more intimate atmosphere. Three of these are fee-based, which means you do have to pay a cover charge for the meal. But what a meal it can be! If French gourmet food is your choice for an evening during your cruise, Le Bistro caters to this specialty. Choose an appetizer of escargot, followed by a steak with blue cheese scalloped potatoes as just one of the mouth-watering items on the menu.

Cagney’s offers steak as well as fresh seafood and poultry specialities. Your plate will be so full of food that you probably won’t be able to eat it all. If you have a suite or villa as your accommodations, you don’t have to pay the fee required to dine in this venue. This is the signature steakhouse of the Norwegian Sky and is the one place where you can taste the delectable Alaskan crab legs.

Design your own pizza or pasta dish at Il Adagio, the Italian restaurant on this cruise ship. Along with the taste of Italy you have exquisite views through the floor to ceiling windows as you dine. If you want to dine in the sunshine and enjoy the fresh ocean air, the Great Outdoors offers this experience in a covered terrace. This is part of the Garden Cafe where you can enjoy buffet style dining in an indoor/outdoor setting.

At any time when you feel like staying in your room, room service is available 24 hours around the clock. The Norwegian Cruise Line prides itself on saying that if you can’t come to the restaurant, they will bring the restaurant to you.
